The Obama administration was forced to release government emails in a lawsuit by Judicial Watch, which prove that the official government narrative of what happened Benghazi was an outright lie and a campaign of deception aimed at deflecting blame away from Barack Obama who was up for re-election just months before.

Among recovered Benghazi-related government emails was an email from Ben Rhodes, assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, dated September 14th, 2012:

Subject: RE: PREP Call with Susan: Saturday at 4:00 pm ET

“To underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.”
…
“To reinforce the President and Administration’s strength and steadiness in dealing with difficult challenges.”

The law suit was a part of the Freedom of Information Lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group.
